Problem With IE and Links ......

Hi The Problem is with IE when you click on a link in a secondary
program such as Outlook or Word, IE will open a second Blank window.
Now the computer has been scanned for spyware , Hijackthis revealed
no foes, and the obvious fix from MS to re regiater the urlmon.dll
did not correct this issue , not even a repair to IE corrected this,
can anyone else give a possible solution to this problem , short of
installing a different browser.

In addition to Taurian's advice, be aware that not all links will open in a
separate window. Some are "pop-ups" that appear only when you click.
