I have three desk top computers connect to a DSL line. They are all running
Windows XP home edition. Currently, one of these computers can only read the
http:// links fine; however, it always fail to access to any https:// links.
I also did
try to re-install the Windows XP Home Edition, but still not working at all.
This computer used to work fine with both http:// and https:// before. I
would appreciate very much if someone would show me how to fix this problem?

Thank you very much,

Please see this Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

Start with the steps listed under "Re-register .dll files". That's
often all that's needed to solve the problem.
