Hi

I'm trying to generate a message in outlook 2000 and "save as message format" so that someone else can send it by double-clicking. It works fine for other people on my network (we're all using Outlook 2000), but when I e-mail it as an attachment to the person who is actually going to send it, the following problem occurs:
* they save it to their desktop
* then double-click the saved file
* it opens a message, but this has the characteristics of a mail that has already been sent, ie: the to and from fields are greyed out, nothing can be entered
* we have also seen another problem where the to/from fields are not greyed out, but the send button is greyed out (note - this isn't because the .msg has been opened from within another mail)

Can anyone help?

This is because they don't own the e-mail. You can work around this by
opening the message and choose Actions-> Resend this message
