Problem with dail-up

Hi, Ihave a Compaq Presario S4020WM, Athalon XP 2.0GHZ, 128MB Ram, 40GB Hard Drive, Lucent V.92 56K modem. I have a dail-up connection. When I log on the Internet my homepage loads fine, but when I try to go to Yahoo or Google or and other Web site it loads half way then freezes. What coukd be the problem? Thanks Joe L.
 
not enough ram. go to at least 256 or a 512 stick.
