This post is probably more geared towards Shyam Pillai as he posted
this function on his website at: http://www.mvps.org/skp/pptxp001.htm

I've noticed a problem with CopyWithSourceFormating() and I'm having a
hell of a time tracking down the cause. Occasionally a slide with a
long title inserted after a slide with an embedded picture will have
an incorrect font size. The crazy thing is the this only happens for
SOME slides with long titles. Doesn't matter if the template is the
same or not, nor does it matter if the slide with the embedded picture
has a title or not. I'm using Powerpoint 2002 and Windows SBS 2003.

Any ideas Shyam? Anybody else come across this?

Couple of things to check for:
- Do you have auto layout turned on (check Tools | Auto correct... )?
- Do you have text auto size turned on (check Format shape dialog?

Auto layout is turned off - but it makes no difference. Sorry but I
can't find the second option you mentioned. Where exactly is it in
Powerpint 2002?

Any ideas anyone?
