Hello, all
I am using windows XP with service pack 2
Every time I start my pc,
before it goes to the GUI boot screen
there must be some strange characters at the bottom of the screen, see the following:The GUI boot screen doesn't display until the ">" goes to the end
Some one may help, I will be very thankful.

A white band across the bottom area of the screen is normal behavior. How
long you see it is very system dependent.

Different configuration for startup. Often how the manufacturer set up the
BIOS matters.
