Problem w/ Bold feature in Word....

When I highlight a specific line or sentence that I want to bold and then
click on the Bold button on the formatting bar then every line of text in the
entire doc becomes Bold. Can someone please tell me what i might be doing
wrong? I've run the detect and repair feature and it did not correct the
problem. it seems as if some auto bold feature which somehow applys itself to
every word in the doc has been enabled. Thanks in advance.....

try a Word newsgroup - hint - it's under "Office".......
