problem viewing ppt presentation created on Mac on a Win 98 PC

The presentation has pictures taken from pdf documents. On
the Mac these show fine. On the PC there is the following
message: You need a TIFF(LZW) decompressor and Quicktime to
view this image. I downloaded Quicktime and a TIFF
decompressor and have both running, but get the same message.
Any idea what has to be done?

Go back to the Mac and resave the presentation. But before you hit the OK
button to save, check your options and turn off QuickTime Compression.

Or that might be under whatever the Mac equivalent of Tools/Options is.
