It seems I have a fairly simple problem on my hands. I am attempting to
adjust the read/write options for a directory I have created in my root
directory (C:\>). The directory is currently marker as "read only" in the
properties dialog box created by left clicking on the directory icon in
windows explorer. When I uncheck the "read only" box and click apply (to all
subdirectories and files) then click ok, reopen and view the properties
window again for that directory, the box is rechecked. I have a feeling this
may have something to do with my administrator settings, but I'm not sure how
to access them correctly. Any pointers would be much appreciated! Thanks in
advance...
