When Outlook starts, I get an error message stating "cannot locate recurrents
information for some of your reminders". I can't find a resolution for this
in the help files or the web site.

Everything I can find seems to point at this being the resolution,
1. Click to select the Calendar folder.
2. On the View menu, point to Current View, and click Recurring
Appointments.
3. Open the damaged item. If you don't know which item it is, perform the
remaining steps on each item.
4. On the Actions menu, click Recurrence.
5. In Appointment Recurrence, click OK. You may receive the following
message:
Any exceptions associated with this recurring appointment will be
lost. If any of the exceptions are meetings, the attendees
will not be notified. Is this OK?

NOTE: This means any changes you made to individual occurrences of
the item will be lost and the new recurrence pattern will be set.
Click OK if you receive this message.
6. Save and close the item.

I hope this information is helpful.
