HELP

I have a printer which has been working fine until now.
I may have had a problem with fragmentation, deleted reg.
keys or something else I am not sure.

I have already re installed the drivers for my printer
Canon i850 which has been working fine for months.

The printer CAN:
do a nozzle check
print alignment
can detect if there is any paper in the tray
it is recognozed by the computer as being connected.

What it can't and won't do when I go to print is print
any of my documents.

The printing cue comes up okay and everything seems fine
but it doesn't print.

What do I do, do I need to do a repair or install of
WIndows XP HELP!

I did originally try the Printer Newsgroup and no one
repsonded.

This is a Windows operating system problem as the printer
itself works.

I need help! I have documents that need to be printed!
This can't wait until someone else with a printing
problem goes to post in the printing area.

I have tried the Printer News Gorup without any help.
The printer works fine for nozzle check, print head
alignment but won't print my documents.

This is a WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM problem.

I need help!! I have documents that need to be printed!
This is the Help and Support area for Windows XP and I
need HELP!

Most printers after installation have a procedure where you can print a test page.
Have you tried doing that with your printer? Try here:
Start/Control Panel/Printers.....etc./rightclick your printer and click Properties
There you should have a window with tabs for either maintenance, troubleshooting
or printer check to print a test page or demo page. Now the next thing, is to check
if there is ink in the cartridges, for if they are empty, well............no printing!!!

I have owned this printer for months without any trouble
until Trojan attacks and reg keys etc.

Printer is fine all those checks have been done. I have
new ink cartidges that I have used last week.

This is a software issue!

Open the printer icon in the control panel and make sure the icon for the
printer does not say "paused".
If it does, right-mouse click on it and choose "resume".

Problem solved.

After a complete un install and re install of the
software for the printer it is working like a charm.
