I had to reinstall my computer and start from scratch. I thought all of my
programs were erased. But I found them in a separate hard drive. (D:) I'm
trying to figure out why I have 2 (Drives C: & D:) I was trying to reinstall
some of my programs and it says there isn't enough space on drive C: But
Drive D: has tons of space (but I guess it isn't the default drive. I would
like all of my programs to be on just one drive. What can I do? This is
frustrating since I can't reinstall some of my important programs (due to not
enough space.) I never had two hard drives before; I've always just had one.
But since I reinstalled everything; another drive appeared with all my old
things on it.

Some more info would be helpful in answering your question(s). See below each
part.

How did you reinstall? Retail CD? Recovery CD/partition?

Either you created a second partition (it is only Labeled as a drive; it's
really a partition) , or there was a second/hidden partition already there.

If you have a retail (or OEM) CD, you can delete both partions (starting
completely from scratch and losing everything on the hard drive [both
partitions]).
See this page for how to do a clean install. Step 10b tells how to delete a
partition. (You'll delete both, one at a time: then create the new partition,
format/install using the entire space.)

Steps to Clean Install: [Disregard the "Floppy install" parts if you have an
XP CD.]

The small partition C:?, might have been hidden and contained a image used
for restoring you PC. The now D: partition with your programs could have
held your Windows OS and been C: Is it possible you installed to the wrong
partition? What make, model and OS?
