A colleague's computer (XP Pro SP2) is displaying an odd problem: when the
user tries to open 'My Computer', a window appears saying "Data execution
prevention" and then offers the option to close the window. This also
happens when he tries 'My Documents'.
He's done a full scan with AVG, Spybot S&D and AdAware, and nothing's coming
up, but I'm scratching my head. I see from the MS site that this is
designed to protect against malicious code exploits, but I can't identify
any.
Any ideas how I might move this forward?
TIA.
