Problem opening exe files:(

I am having a problem opening some exe files. For example, I downloaded the
new version of Trojan Remover. When I click the exe setup file nothing
happens... No error or anything. I downloaded again and the same problem. I
tried to install some other software I have and same problem... The software
I currently have installed is working fine... I tried restoring exe file
association, and it still doesn't work... Any suggestions?

Try from the Safe Mode. This may result from some malware that runs on
your computer.
