Not sure where I can post this but...

I am using W2K with 2 Viewsonic monitors. I'm using a Matrox Millenium G450
card with latest drivers. I have them side by side, but seperated like 8
inches. My monitors both have a slight refresh/flickering action that is
causing me to be dizzy. Increasing the hertz for the adapter doesn't seem
to work.

Any ideas?

Do flat monitors have this problem?

Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks.

Yes.

Do both of them have to be running at the same refresh, etc...? Any other
ideas?

set one monitor at a lower refresh rate like one at 85 and the other at 75.
also if you turn one or the other off do you still see it?

If you mean "LCD monitors" when you write "Flat monitors" then the
answer is No - LCD displays are too slow to show screen flicker.

Try placing a thin sheet of metal or even drape some tin foil between them
and see if that makes any difference. Could just be a shielding problem and
each is affecting the other. I also recently had a friend who's IBM
"something" 17" crt was picking up the 60Hz house current from wire situated
in wall right behind monitor (old wiring in an even older house).

I have similar problem with a Matrox...........you might have to go to
individual PCI adapters........

try changeing the refresh rate on each monitor like set one at 85hrz and
the other at 75.
