I am trying to move some mp3 files from my HDD to a Scandisk USB 2.0
flash drive. The files are composed of 2 CDs I decoded, both with the
same program, Cdex 1.5. I can move all but 2 of them. I keep getting
the message that "the directory or file cannot be created". I'm just
dragging and dropping, not making any directories or anything else. I
have used this drive for about a year now with no problems. And all the
other files, mp3s included, move fine. Any ideas what is going on?

What are the properties of those files? Are they read only?

Two thing can cause this:

1) The UBS flash drive can not store the files, since they are too big.

2) Microsoft Digital Rights software. This may not allow you you move the
file (I do not know, I do not do MP3s).

Right click on the drive in Windows Explorer and choose Properties. Does
the free space on the drive exceed the size of the files you are trying to
move onto the drive? If not - free up some space and try again.
