Not too long ago I noticed that the network drivers weren't loading (at least
the little icons in the tray weren't there) when I started up the computer.
There also seemed to be something running the background that wasn't found in
the task list. On restarting, there was no problem. Today I noted that there
was Giant antispyware running, which I couldn't shut off. Question: If i have
the autoscan set for overnight, but the computer is turned off, will it
automatically run the scan when it starts up, with no evidence that it's
running? Is there some way to avoid this and still have it autoscan? And if
it is scanning on startup, will the network drivers not load until it's done
running?
