I'm running XP home SP1. In Firefox and IE when trying to run any
websites with java like yahoo games it says "loading java applet.."
and just stays that way or sometimes i just get a gray blank box. In
opera ver 7.5 it loads up and runs fine. I've already updated firefox
and IE still no luck. Is it possible that opera is running a different
java than what IE and firefox uses? Its been like this for a while
like over 6 months.

Any help thx

Yes, that's possible. Do you have a Sun JVM installed? If so, open the
control panel "Java Plug-in" applet, click the "Browser" tab, and make
sure the IE and Mozilla boxes are checked.

Maybe you need to go to http://java.sun.com/getjava and update your
JVM?

Yes, I think so. JRE=Java Run-Time Environment, JVM=Java Virtual
Machine. Basically two names for the same thing.
