I'm trying to install the NTBACKUP.MSI in the Valueadd
folder on the XP Home Edition CD; as per the instructions
in knowledgebase article 302894. When I click on the
file, as instructed, the file extension (.msi) is not
recognized, and I get an error message. I'm the only user
on the system, so I believe I am the administrator, in
case that's an issue. Any one have any suggestions? It
would be nice to have the backup utility, but no luck
installing, so far.
Regards.

"Right-click" on the NTBACKUP.MSI file and select "Install".

Thanks for the quick reply, Carey, but when I right click
on the file, there is no "install" option. Only "Send to
Fax; Open with...; Winzip; email with Yahoo; Send to;
etc." Any further suggestions?
