Hai Friends,

I had put a folder of mine from my computer to another
computer's shared folder both connected in the LAN and i mapped that
network drive so that i can access that from my computer.
After some days , when i tried to acces a file in that
shared folder the system says that there is no such shared folder
So I checked the other system n foun that it is not there.
Is there any possibility of tracing the folder in the other
computers connected in the network (LAN)
I didnt have any backup of the fi`les in that folder
please help
Thanks in Advance

From what you say, someone (perhaps the regular user of the other
computer, assuming that this is a peer-ot-peer network) has simply
deleted the folder. If the other computer is backed up regularly and
the backup includes the folder in question, your files may be included
in a recent backup. If not, you are probably out of luck. You should
never put the only copy of an important file in a location that anyone
else has write/delete access to.
