I am having problems importing a pst file from CD to a
user's personal folder.
I tried to import the file back and am getting the
message, properties for this information service must be
defined prior to use. The file c:\temp\parrishpart1.pst
is not a personal folders file.
I have removed the read only attribute from the file on
the cd and copied it to my harddrive prior to importing
it. I had another user that I did the same thing for the
prior day and had no problem with pulling the files back
in.
Any suggestions? I ran scanpst.exe on the files and
afterwards I am not getting the error that they are not
recognized as pst files, it's just not executing the
import. One thing I've noticed is when you are in the
import process, it is asking which folder to export
from. For some reason, it 'thinks' the file is already
in a folder.
