Hi - I have a small network of 2xwin 2000 and 2xXP pro machines. I can connect to previously mapped drives and can right click on my network and search for specific computers and then connect to them. How ever I cannot browse connetcted computers via "entire network / microsoft windows network / gormdomain" gormdomain is empty. all my computers are set up to be in gormdomain- there no firewalls on the machines themselves and no other domains.

Any help would be great.

sounds like master browser issue. quoted from http://www.ChicagoTech.net
How to check Browser status

To determined the failed protocol_netcard and check the working status of
the Browser service on all installed protocols, you can use a tool comes
with the Windows NT resource kit program Browstat.exe or Browmon.exe (for
domain). At a command prompt, type the following command: browstat status or
just browser to see the lists.
