Problem after upgrading from win98 to xp

I recently upgraded fron 98 to xp pro. It constantly shutsdown now with some
FAT32 message. The error report states a problem with the graphic driver.
It's a 3dfx Voodoo Banshee. Can a download software for this card from
microsoft or do I need a new card? And will I encounter more problems with my
other devices?

What is your system's total specs? The vid card is way old, and last drivers written for it (which were somewhat compatible with Win2K) in mid 2000, though there are some that others have written to work with it, but there is no support and/or guarantee. There well may be more issues with your system for compatibility.

IIRC, these 3DFX cards are not supported under XP. There is no software to
run them under XP, and you're going to have to replace the card with
something newer and compatible.

As to whether other devices may need attention, that's what the Upgade
Advisor on the CD is for.
