Problem accessing secure sites solved.

After trying over 20 suggestions I was able to gain access to secure
websites by checking the IE6 > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced >
Security > Use TLS 1.0.

Before, I though TLS was a weaker and older type of encryption that
was best left off.

Note that Microsoft's article 813444 does no suggest this as a
solution.

Did you try all the suggestions in

Is IE6 up to date with all patches, updates, hotfixes?

If Netscape works to acces secure sites then the problem is with IE6
otherwise the problem is with XP.

You can search Groups using for more suggestions.
+"The page cannot be displayed" +secure +"Internet explorer" +xp

Sorry but I do not know what else to suggest. I had the problem for a
few months before I found the solution.
