*.prn files

How do you print a *.prn file created by selecting "print
to file" and stowing it where you can find it?
I have never been able to print any of these files.
I have tried draging the file to the printer icon on the
desk top but it doesn't work.
I cannot find the file to direct the *.prn file to to
execute the printing of the file.
I cannot set up the computer to recognize a *.prn file to
act on it.
Please tell me how to do this and put it on your web site
under something one can find like: *.prn files, or
working with print to file files, or using *.prn files.

Thanks

From the command prompt type the following:

copy filename.prn \\ServerName\PrinterShareName

This assumes you have shared the printer.

If you don't want to use the command prompt we have a inexpensive windows
program on our web site which does the same.
