private folder access

Hi!

I recently had to reinstall windows xp. I unfortunatly
kept one of my user folders as private. Now that I have
reinstalled windows, I cannot access it, receiving a
message access denied. I know all my documents are still
there. How can I recover them???

Your help is greatly appreciated.
