Printing

I have a 40 page document and I only want to type some of the pages, not the
whole docment. Where do I go to find this?
 
Assuming you mean you only want to print some pages, go to the Print
dialog (Ctrl-P) and somewhere (depending on your printer) is a box
asking you to specify which pages. They can be discontinuous, e.g.
2,5-9,3,12-26 [note: no spaces]
