My XP Printing Wizard is very erratic and seems to work when it feels like
it. When running it from Explorer it locks up on the front page and all I
get is the hourglass. I end up having to print from another package
altogether. This is with jpg files.

Is this a known fault and is there a cure please?

John.

Hi,
Click Start >> Run >> in the command run type in:
regsvr32 ole32.dll click [OK] and Reboot your machine then try to print
e-mails, does this help.

No, no difference I'm afraid.

Incidentally, I'm trying to print jpgs from Windows Explorer, not Outlook
Express.

Thanks anyway,

John.

Hi John,
Uninstall the printer Driver and look for latest driver from the Printer
manufacturer and try the installation.

I should have mentioned at the start that a new printer hadn't made any
difference. However, I've downloaded updated drivers and it still didn't
work at first. However, the Wizard has decided to start working now, so I'll
have to see how it goes. Obviously I can't look for a fault while it's
working but any further suggestions would be appreciated.

In the meantime, many thanks for your assistance. I'm very grateful.

Ah well, it's failed again. At the moment I'm printing via Paint Shop.

Definitely a pain,

John.
