printing thumbnails

Can you tell me if I can print the content list of a
folder containing pictures, as they appear in thumbnail
view. In other words, can I print a sheet of thumbnails
that look like the thumbnails display on the screen.

Hi Paul,

This isn't something I'd want to do in Word, which really isn't set up
for it.

Instead, get the excellent -- and free -- IrfanView
(www.irfanview.com). In that program, use File > Thumbnails; in the
next window, select the pictures you want (or Ctrl+A for all) and use
File > Create contact sheet from selected thumbs. Finally, in the
contact sheet dialog, choose to send the result to either a file or
directly to the printer.

This is *much* easier than anything you could do with Word.
