Same problem here with an Epson 1280. Epson swears it's
a Microsoft Windoze XP glitch. This has been a problem
with both XP Pro and Home (I have both running in my
home) and with Epson inkjet and HP laserjet printers.
Most of the time it's when I'm doing somethign other than
printing dumb - like when I print an 11x14 image on a
13x19 sheet, or print a PDF file to the laserjet. So far
I've found nothing that works other than the "three
fingered Microsoft salute" - reboot the system, just like
in MS-DOS days.
