I can set up a report, thrugh trail and error, that will put the certificate
number , certificate amount, and persons name. I keep moving the information
around unil the information lines up on the preprinted certificate. I thought
I could scan in the preprinted certificate in to the repot form and the put
the feilds, in design mode, where they need to be. Then print only the data
on the preprinted form.

Thanks

That may be a better _start_ on getting your Controls located properly, but
you can't count on it because of differences in displays, printers, and
their software drivers.

At best, I have found that properly locating text on pre-printed forms takes
some painstaking detail work, comparing the output, adjusting, and trying
again. And, then, if someone uses a different printer, that detail work may
have to be redone.

HINT: A "windows inch", that which is displayed for an inch on your display,
is not necessarily a "printer inch", that which is printed in a "real world
inch" on your printer.
