Hi, Dan. Likely, when you're copying and this occurs, it's because you've
also copied over a section break. Before checking your margins, hit Ctrl+A.
Then, if the margins are blank, it means there's multiple margin settings in
your document. To view section breaks (which sometimes get kinda hidden
anyway, even when you are viewing them), go to Tools-Options-View and choose
ALL nonprinting characters.

Hope this helps!

It seems like when I cut and paste from one document to another and then
go the print, a box comes up and says "the margins in section 1 are outside
the usable area of the page" or words to that effect. It then says "Do you
want to continue?" If I say yes, the text is printed off to the right of
the page with a portion off the right side. It seems like this has just
started happening with Word and I've had it on my machine for some time. If
I look at the margins in page setup, they seem fine (1" all around). What's
going on?
