Hi All,

When printing from the Outlook Express 6.0 the following error message appears
on the screen:

An error has occured on the script of this page
Line: ....
Char: ....
Error: Access is denied
Code: 0
URL: res//C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Regardles of whether "yes" or "no" is selected, no printing takes palce.

I checked in "Disable script debugging" and unchecked "Display a notification
about every script error" in Internet Explorer 6.0.
I unchecked "Enable third party browser extensions".
I also removed all from c:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS directory.
I also uninstalled my printer, restarted the computer and installed the printer
again.

Nothing helped.

Please tell me what to do. I use WindowsXP Pro.

Regards
Ewa

Repost with the line number that you have excluded.
There can be a different solution for different line numbers.

In microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser, "Ewa"

Sorry, I didn't realise that the number is important for solution.
Both, when trying to print e-mail or news, I get:
Line: 1345
Char: 1

Thank you Alan.
Unfortunately I haven't managed to solve the problem yet.
At the moment uninstalling any software on my computer seems to be the most
likely reason of the problem. However I don't remember what program I uninstalled
when the problem started.

Thanks for your reply.

The article in http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q293/1/76.ASP
suggests to use MS-DOS mode. It doesn't describe however how to do it when
using WindowsXP Pro. How to do it safely?

The article in http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q303/3/60.asp
refers to situation when system alerts that no printer is in the system.
That's not my case.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q303486
I don't have any postscript printer.

http://support.microsoft.com?scid=kb;EN-US;Q811165
I've already checked it. I don't have any Surfairy installed.

Thank you very much.
Start, Run, Type MSCONFIG. Hit enter.
Click on expand file.
Replace iepeers.dll
I still need one more information:
where the get the proper iepeers.dll from?
I suppose it should be .cab but which one and from?
I use WinXP Pro Sp2, IE&OE 6.0
