Hello,
On Access 2000 I am getting "Microsoft Access couldn't
print your object. Make sure that the specified printer is
available." message. I check Microsoft site it suggests to
check the printer and port but for other documents I do
not have any problem. It only happens in Access, what
might the problem be?
Thanks,
Jim.

Are you sure that the report in question isn't set to print to a
specific printer which is not currently available?

Yes it prints a few pages then I get this message.

So it starts to print, prints a few pages, and then stops with that
error message? Huh. Is this a network printer, or one that is attached
directly to your PC? What is it that you are trying to print? Can
Access print other objects, and other objects of the same type, to that
printer? Is there anything unusual about that object; for example, is
it a report with images on each page?

yes it is a network printer. it is a report and I have a
logo as a sub report in each page. Is this a problem?

You didn't answer my other question: Can Access print other objects,
and other objects of the same type, to the same printer? If not, I'd
look at the possible causes outlined here:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;224151

If other reports of comparable size *can* print to that printer with no
problems, then it may be something about that particular report, and I'd
be looking at possible memory leaks in the image-handling. What happens
if you make a copy of the report without the logo? Will that copy print
OK?
