Hello,

I have a report which contains only one page, but if the user print the
report, the printer will keep on printing until the printer run out of the
paper. This behaviour doesn't happen at the other report.
Please help.
Thanks.

Create a new report or provide more detailed information. I have never heard
of this problem and you haven't stated anything about your report other than
it likes to waste paper.

It's a built-in 'feature' of the printer. The report is probably a
letter of complaint to the printer manufacturer bemoaning the high
cost of ink. <g>

This problem occurs on Win XP, working fine with Win 98.
In design view, actually the report is in portrait mode.
But when the user preview, the report is in landscape mode.
The user uses MDE file.
Thx.

I just really see the problem in Windows XP.
In the first PC, after I preview the report, the report is viewed in Letter
landscape.
I use Page Setup menu to change to A4 portrait, but it can't be changed.

In the second PC, the report is previewed on the right paper size, but when
I want to print the report, the number of copies value is always 100 not 1.
This problem has happened on several computers.
Thanks.

This issue has happened to many of my clients which use Acc2000 or AccXP and
many kinds of printer.
So I don't think it's a printer driver issue.
All the Name AutoCorrect stuff is unchecked.
The MDE file is in Acc2000 version which is converted from Acc97.
Thx.

I can send the screen shot of this problem to your email if you want.
Beside the report is displayed in wrong format, if the user changes the
paper size, let say A4 to Letter, then the paper is not changed.
Thanks.

I'm not sure what good a screen shot would do if you are getting too many
pages. I don't expect I can be of much assistance.

Do your problems have any significant patterns?

The user is getting too many pages because the report is previewed in wrong
orientation.
I have ever tried to open the source code in the computer which the problem
happened, in design view, I changed the paper orientation and paper size and
it was not changed.
This problem doesn't happen on all reports, only one or two reports.

Thanks.

"This issue has happened to many of my clients which use Acc2000 or AccXP and
many kinds of printer" and then " in the computer which the problem happened"

I'm not sure whether this is wide spread or limited. Only you will be able
to find significant patterns to the problem. If you can't find patterns, the
problem becomes ultra-difficult. Especially since as I mentioned, I have
never heard of this issue before.
