Printing Problem w/WORD

Have XP Prof, and when printing a Web page, an email, a PDF, or most
anything, my HP5110 multi spools then prints fairly fast. However, if the
intended print job comes from a simple Word doc, it takes like 20 minutes to
print. Help, please! Anyone have a fix that can save me sitting here waiting
forever? Thanks!

Is the option for Background Printing activated in Tools/Options/Print? If not,
see if activating that helps at all.

But you should probably take this up with the experts in the word.printingfonts
newsgroup, as the behavior you describe does not sound normal.

The "Background Printing" was NOT activated, so tried that. But didn't work, so on to "wordprintfonts newsgroup"!! Thanks for responding.
