printing problem in every other line-top 15% of fonts missing

In Word 2003, while printing documents every other line is curiously
affected by missing the top of tall fonts like "f's" and capital "T's".

It seems to affect the first line of every paragraph, then the next line is
normal, and so on. The date, salutation, and closing are unaffected.
Any ideas?

BTW, I can copy and print the same thing into notepad and it prints normally,
making me think there must be something in the paragraph breaks, or something.

Hi Karl,

If the text looks OK in Print Preview, this could be aproblem with your printer (eg clogged print head) or its driver.
