Can anyone help me how to set up a printer on the internet? For example, I
would like to print documents at my office when I am at home or on the road,
via the internet, I assume.

Thanks,
Ken

You'd have to invest in getting a VPN, and then connecting to it on your
laptop, and print to the server.

What OS are you running at work on your desktop PC? Do you have a domain or
work group environment at work?

One option is Remote Desktop if the work PC is running XP Pro or Vista
Ultimate/Enterprise/Business. As noted by Harry a VPN is also an option
particularly if your in a domain environment at work.

Sorry I am not too familiar with Virtual Private Networks. Can you tell me
the basics of how they work, and how a VPN would help me in this instance?

Thanks Much,
Ken
