Printing over a wireless network

I bought a new computer with XP and connected it to my
old computer (running ME) via a wireless router
(connecter to the old one) and the adapter connected to
the new one. Both computers can access the internet but
the new computer cannot print to the old computer that is
connected to the printer. I've tried everything but I
can't get it to work.

You probably have a network setup problem. Before worrying about the printer
make sure both PC's can communicate wth each other.
Go to START RUN and type in "command". Then type in "ping nameofotherpc" hit
enter. Do this on both PC's. If ping is successfull, then move on to the
printer issue.

On the new PC when you go to Control Panel, Printers and Faxes, ADD A
PRINTER Wizard, do you see the printer on the old PC (you must share it of
course)?

XP will automatically install the driver from the host PC.
File and Print Sharing must be enabled on the host PC.

(Are both PC's IP settings set to "obtain an IP address automatically"?
Are both PC's set to the same workgroup name? If not change them to a common
name.)

good luck
