Printing onto Postcards

I have set up a postcard in Word for a 8.5x5.5 postcard. The postcards will only feed through my printer if the 5.5 side goes in first. How do I rotate the image on the screen so that it prints properly on the card? When I cahnge to landscape, I lose most of the information. Thank you!
 
Changing to landscape should not make any difference. Most likely you have a
problem with the "unprintable area." This can be fairly large for the
trailing edge on an inkjet printer, but if it's unreasonably large
(especially on a laser printer), the problem is most likely with the printer
driver. Check the manufacturer's Web site for an updated one.
