Printing in Publisher

I am trying to creat an arabic scroll for a craft project, and I thought I
could type some words in a blank publisher document, then print it in the
"Arabic typesetting" font, and it would print in arabic, but this is not
working. Can anyone help me?

I would add to vseale's reply that I've never heard of any software that
translates text because you chose a particular font -- the font is a visual
representation of characters, not a controller of content. That's true in
Access, in Word, in <whatever software you care to name>, and, I am certain
it is true in Publisher.
