Printing files with PRN extension

I went to print a file from the web and it printed poorly. I then went to
print again, but decided to print to file in case I had additional problems
with my printer. It was saved as a prn file. I have tried numerous programs,
but was unable to open or print the file. What program should I use to open
the file. Since the file was automatically saved by Internet Explorer as a
prn file, I assumed that Explorer would be able to print.

a good old cmd command shell

copy is the command that will send the file (any file) to the printer.
