Printing euro symbol

Has anyone else come across a problem with Windows XP and
printing the euro symbol. I have some Brother & HP
printers and I can't print from Office XP or Lotus Notes
5.0.12 The only time it will print is from Office to a HP
Laserjet 4050N but not even from Notes!
I can't find anything on Microsoft website but someone
else must have come across this problem.

You need to be printing with a font that includes the ¤ symbol - and not
all fonts do.

Have you gone into the printer's properties and made sure that it does
not substitute machine fonts for True Type fonts? This is the default
on at least some printers. If the machine font does not include the
symbol it will not print.
