Printing envelopes

I am using Office 2000 word running on a XP system.
I can print OK to my Dell A960 printer until I try to print a envelope then
it prints a blank envelope.
I do not have, nor ever have had, a color cartridge installed but it did
work before. Could I have somehow set Word to print envelope addresses in
color?

It's also possible that Word is expecting a different envelope orienation, and
is actually printing outside the envelope paper. Have you checked the printign
options for the envelope?
