Printing discolored photos

I have an HP P1100 photosmart printer and cannot get windows to send it a good image. Everytime I print something it is discolored (has a blue hue to the whole photo.) My photos also seem to be grainy even from my 5 megapixel camera. I checked the basics drivers, printer cartridges. IF I print from the printers memory card reader photos print fine, so I know it is a communication error with windows xp. So far I have not found afix... Please help

Apparently something is going wrong when you
copy the images to your hard drive.

If the driver at the following site is newer than your
current one it might be worth a try:
