New PC, using word, formatted various text to light grey but it still prints black. Just can't seem to overcome, any ideas???

Make sure you have the latest printer driver. Go to the web page of the
manufacturer of your printer and download and install the latest driver.

Apparently we have the latest HP driver (for Windows XP). I Tried an old version of windows/word on someone elses machine and they don't have a problem with grey printing, it's just us with the new machines & software. Any ideas?
