printing check boxes

....I can see the box and check in print preview...

but i cannot seem to get them to print (box or check--when true).

I've tried changing the border, effects; nothing. I do have display >
always enabled.

Any thoughts?

Print Reports.
View Forms.

They are different tools for different purposes.
