How do I print a business card using card stock? (not on a full page-- like
Avery labels). I'm going to buy some calling/business card stock from a card
company. I assume it will already be cut (2inx3in) so can I print on that
using my printer and Word? I've gotten the text right I think but I can't
get it to pull from the correct tray. I have a Photosmart C5180 All-in-One
Printer. Is there a place to hold the cards firmly in place so they feed
correctly without sliding?

That would not be possible with Word. You should start with one of Avery
(or other brand) products created specifically for that purpose.

I suspect there is probably no desktop printer capable of printing a paper
size that small. You need to rethink the project.

Also, don't assume that the card stock will be cut to the small size --
contact the vendor and ask explicitly what sheet size they supply. It's also
worth checking the sheet thickness (expressed as a "weight" such as 100 lb)
and verifying that your printer is able to handle paper of that thickness,
as stated in the printer specifications.
