Printers that work with win xp

has anyone managed to successfully install an all in one
printer ,scanner ,copier to win xp which works well.Have
a new lexmark X73 which worked in win98sebut not in winxp
despite updated driver.
Can any Newsgroup members share the good news of any
makes ,models of printers which are "digitally signed "
for xp Which are easy to install and work well.
Judging by the number of postings on this issue,seems to
be an issue for many.
Any help appreciated.

after I downloaded the latest driver from the lexmark site
it now works fine
