printer spooling

If my pc has been shut down for more than 2 days, when I
reboot my pc sends a copy of the last 40 or so documents
to the printer. This doesn't seem to happen when I shut
down over night and it only sends AUTOCAD documents. Any
help would be greatly appreciated

Always the same documents or always the most current?

Sounds like potential virus. First step, get up-to-date
antivirus signatures on a good antivirus product and do a
complete scan of your hard drive(s). Second, is your
printer shared? If so, someone may be trying to print
while your computer is off and when you turn it on a
couple of days later, you have a bunch of items in pushed
into queue. Are the printouts yours and unique to your
computer or could they be from someone else?

If you rule out virus and shared users, try uninstalling
the printer then reinstall, perhaps loading latest
drivers off web (trusted source of course). Consider
doing that with AUTOCAD as well. If problem persists
after that, could be a corrupt spooler dll in Windows
system. That's a stickier wicket.

Good luck.
